Rare Christian Oil Lamps, Set of 3, from the early Islamic eraSuperb set of 3 early Islamic (Fatimid) era molded lamps. Two have obvious Christian motifs : cross and fisherman; cross and hunt scene. The 3rd is the more usual animal motif. Ca 800 ce. Size: These 3 lamps were found as a set in Samaria, Israel. The type is known from Syria.
